AJ Best Studio is a web design and development practice serving businesses in Nigeria, the United Kingdom and internationally. We take on a limited number of projects at a time so that the people who scope your work are the people who build it.
Philosophy
A website is a business instrument. It should be clear about what it sells, easy for a busy person to use, and built so the second year costs less than the first.
We are not interested in fashionable interfaces that will look dated in eighteen months. Our work borrows from print and editorial traditions: a firm grid, restrained colour, type set for reading and structure that respects the reader's time.
We are also plain about money and time. If your budget is not sufficient for what you have described, we will say so and propose a smaller first phase. If a project would be better served by something simpler than what you asked for, we will tell you that too.
Our work is judged by what visitors can use: clear public websites, working commerce, secure account journeys and practical business tools.

Colour contrast, keyboard operation, form labelling and semantic structure are checked before launch, not retrofitted after complaints.

We agree a performance target at the start of the project and test against it on real connections, not just on office broadband.

Consistent conventions, no abandoned plugins and written documentation so the site can be handed on without drama.
Privacy
Only necessary data is collected, consent is handled plainly, and we advise on retention rather than ignoring it.
